Presence, 2004
Colour plays an important role in Jason's work and is used as an evolving examination of the various relationships that exist within a painting.
In Presence, Jason has attempted to locate an individual colour within a composition. A colour once isolated must exist independently yet in harmony within a painting. The form of the dominant colour is not subject to boundary but acquires this through the awareness of the colours dynamic.
