Holding The Moment - 2002-2003
The Moment compositions are an emotional expression of the unpredictable and unexplained dynamic aspects of the chaotic sensations, thoughts, feelings and sense of presence that fill the very seconds of time. The nature of a 'moment' is impermanent and these compositions have chosen to capture an essence of what a moment's feeling, sensation and importance can mean.
The descriptive act of applying paint and presence of colour creates a narrative from something momentous and introspective. Within this process there emerges a 'language' or 'a sense' with an integrity of it's own presence.
